우리는 지금, 우리의 정치가 도덕과 이성을 상실했다고 믿습니다. 자유는 책임을 거부하고, 정의는 유행을 따라가는 시대를 살고 있습니다.
우리는 이 시류 앞에서 침묵하지 않습니다. 왜냐하면 창조주로부터 부여받은 권리에는, 인간은 자유롭고 공동체는 질서로 유지되며 정치는 책임으로 존재한다는 진리가 담겨 있기 때문입니다.
우리 조상은 피 흘려 얻은 자유를, 법과 도덕으로 가꾸어 왔습니다. 자유는 방종이 아니었고, 권리는 책임과 함께 주어졌습니다. 우리는 이 유산이 망각 속에 사라지도록 둘 수 없습니다.
기존 세력은 국민으로부터 정당성을 부여받은 진실한 판단자의 사상을 억압하며, 국민의 자유를 침범해 왔습니다.
그들은 국민과 국가의 이익보다 자신들의 안위와 특권을 우선하는 비겁한 습관에 젖어 있습니다. 그 결과, 유구한 역사 속에서 자라온 자유의 풍습은 사라지고, 도덕 공동체는 분열되었습니다.
그러므로 우리는 선언합니다. 우리는 인간 사회의 보편적 가치를 실현하는 정당을 만들 것입니다. 이 정당은 혁명을 추구하지 않고, 질서를 지킬 것입니다. 이 정당은 세대 간의 계약을 기억하며, 과거와 단절하지 않은 미래를 설계할 것입니다.
우리는 국민의 권리를 지키되, 의무를 일깨우는 정당이 될 것입니다. 우리는 통일을 노래하되, 감상보다 제도로 설계할 것입니다. 우리는 보수라는 말에 진심을 담고, 자유라는 말에 책임을 더할 것입니다.
이 선언에 공감하는 모든 시민에게 우리는 묻습니다.
“당신은 어떤 정치를 후대에 남기고 싶은가?”
우리와 함께, 무너진 가치를 다시 세우고, 떠밀려 다니는 시대를 넘어 방향을 제시하는 정당을 만들어 나갑시다.
We believe that our politics today have lost their sense of morality and reason. We live in an age where liberty rejects responsibility, and justice chases after the whims of fashion.
We do not remain silent in the face of this current. For we believe that among the rights endowed to us by our Creator is this eternal truth:
that man is born to be free, that communities are upheld by order, and that politics exists for the sake of responsibility.
Our forefathers cultivated the freedom they earned through bloodshed with law and moral discipline. Liberty was never license, and rights were always granted with responsibility. We cannot allow this sacred inheritance to fade into the shadows of forgetfulness.
The established powers have suppressed the voices of just reason, though those voices were entrusted by the people with rightful authority.
They have abandoned the interests of the people and the nation, surrendering instead to the cowardly habit of self-preservation and privilege.
As a result, the customs of liberty rooted in our long history have withered, and the moral community has fractured.
Therefore, we solemnly declare: We shall establish a political party to restore the universal values of human society. This party shall not seek revolution but preserve order. It shall remember the covenant between generations, and design a future that does not sever its roots from the past.
We shall be a party that protects the rights of the people and revives their sense of duty. We shall speak of unification not as sentiment but as institutional responsibility. We shall put sincerity into conservatism, and add responsibility to the idea of liberty.
To all citizens who share this conviction, we ask:
“What kind of politics do you wish to pass on to the next generation?”
Let us rise together—to rebuild what has collapsed, and to become not those who drift with the times, but those who offer direction to it.
